Following our participation in the Post-Fall Festival 2024 in Buenos Aires, we had the opportunity to witness firsthand the extraordinary work carried out by the KMC Argentina team in spreading the teachings of Kadam Dharma. It was a deeply inspiring experience that allowed us to understand both their dedication and the great challenges they face.
At that time, Argentina was going through a particularly complex economic situation, marked by very high inflation that made it enormously difficult to carry out the centre’s usual activities. Among the main difficulties was the inability to access the resources needed for printing books, a fundamental tool for the dissemination of the Dharma.
Faced with this reality, the idea arose to offer our support to contribute to the printing of these works. What began as an intention to help has today become a beautiful reality, and for the Can Cet Foundation it is a true privilege to be part of such valuable and meaningful projects.
On 28 February 2026, the launch of Editorial Tharpa Argentina took place in Buenos Aires, a project in which the Can Cet Foundation collaborated through a financial contribution aimed at printing some of the main titles by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
For the first time in Argentina, his complete collection of works will be published — a historic milestone that strengthens the foundations of the Dharma and creates the causes for this wisdom to remain alive and accessible for future generations.
Tharpa, whose meaning is “liberation”, was founded with the purpose of making the wisdom of Buddha accessible to all people, offering practical teachings to read, contemplate and integrate into daily life. Thanks to this, countless beings will be able to benefit from these teachings for many years to come.
For the Can Cet Foundation, supporting initiatives of this nature is fully aligned with our mission to promote, encourage and innovate in projects oriented towards the integral development of people, especially in the areas of personal and spiritual growth.
Furthermore, between 23 April and 11 May 2026, Editorial Tharpa Argentina participated in the 50th Buenos Aires International Book Fair, one of the most important Spanish-language book fairs in the world. Their presence took place in the Blue Pavilion of this prestigious event, considered the third largest Spanish-speaking book fair in the world, which in this edition welcomed more than 1.34 million visitors.
We wish to express our most sincere gratitude to KMC Argentina and Editorial Tharpa Argentina for giving us the opportunity to collaborate on such a meaningful project. We feel deeply grateful to be able to contribute to bringing the teachings of the Dharma to more people and to continue benefiting present and future generations.
