Transformative Economies

At the Can Cet Foundation we are critical of certain aspects of the current system that are not fair or supportive, which is why we encourage the promotion of new socioeconomic practices and new economic models that are more respectful of people, the environment and the social good.

We believe in new social and supportive ways of living and of running the economy, and understanding the experimentation ecosystems of these new models that seek to minimise the social and ecological impact, the Can Cet Foundation promotes projects that positively influence society and political debate.

Promoting the values of the economy for the common good

We establish collaboration agreements with public and private organisations that implement actions in accordance with the principles of a social and supportive economy and that seek a positive social and environmental impact through ethical relationships.

Promotion of new projects related to the foundational principles

The Can Cet Foundation offers support to and fosters the emergence of innovative and entrepreneurial projects, as well as “start-ups” or newly created companies that work to promote the ideas and principles of the social economy, diversity, solidarity and equality, as well as other foundational values.

Promoting people’s development and growth is one of the main values supported by the Economy for the Common Good, fostering values like solidarity, human dignity, social justice, transparency and democracy. Placing people at the centre to achieve their growth and development both within organisations and in society as a whole, this initiative shares the values and principles of the Can Cet Foundation.
