The Can CET Foundation is helping to organise a public talk on meditation and emotional wellbeing, which will take place on 19 September at the Gran Teatro CaixaBank Príncipe Pío in Madrid, to mark the 30th anniversary of Kadampa Buddhism in the city.
The Can CET Foundation will support the event ‘30 Years of Kadampa Buddhism in Madrid: Peace of Mind in Difficult Times’, a public talk on meditation given by Genla Kelsang Dekyong, General Spiritual Director Emerita.
The event will take place on 19 September, from 6.00 pm to 7.30 pm, at La Estación – Gran Teatro CaixaBank Príncipe Pío, and will be held in English with Spanish translation.
The initiative commemorates three decades of Kadampa Buddhism in Madrid and offers attendees the opportunity to learn practical methods for cultivating inner peace and facing the challenges and difficulties of daily life with greater serenity.
The talk will address issues related to managing anxiety and stress, transforming difficulties into opportunities for growth, and the practical application of meditation in modern life.
