Education

We promote active and respectful education for a committed and responsible future society.

The Can Cet Foundation is committed to an education based on respect, play and experimental learning, through living and active education in which the education itself takes place through relationships (with others, with oneself, with specific materials, etc.) in relaxed environments in which the child feels protected, connected and loved.

Based on the understanding that significant learning is the result of experiences lived, exploration and autonomous activity, this pedagogical commitment regulates children’s own processes and accompanies them during different stages of their lives. At the same time, it works on recognising emotions and shared reflection with families as an agent for education involved in learning.

In its commitment to children and a fairer, more responsible and sustainable society, the Can Cet Foundation supports organisations that promote new educational models based on building a conducive environment on an emotional level in which the child can develop his full potential and thus contribute to build a healthier society.

The Can Cet Foundation has the recent support and commitment of two people recognized socially for their professional and personal merits to whom it has granted the distinction of Ambassadors: the renowned creative and pastry chef Christian Escribà and the internationally renowned dancer, Cesc Gelabert. Escribà and Gelabert joined the last meeting of the Can Cet Foundation Board of Trustees, held last September in Sant Esteve de Palautordera. During the meeting, in addition to welcoming the new ambassadors, the team shared with them the objectives of the Foundation and the impact of the most recent projects carried out, as well

On June 22nd, the end-of-year event for the infant and primary school groups of El Picot de Colors took place. It was held in the educational community space, in the Montseny Natural Park, and it was possible thanks to the signed agreement with the Can Cet Foundation. Around 100 people participated and enjoyed this funny, participative and collaborative event, where students, educators, families and friends could share good times, laugh and dance with the performance of the Pol Nord group and Dj Dr. Strange. Olga Riba, secretary and founder of the board of trustees, formalized a commitment to the Educant in Colors (El Picot de Colors) association.
