The Can Cet Foundation has extended its collaboration with the Spain Kadampa Meditation Center in the project of the 6th Kadampa Temple for World Peace, which once inaugurated has continued its development with a landscaping and urban planning project for the adjacent areas. For this goal, the Foundation has provided the KMC Spain, located in Alhaurín el Grande (Málaga), with a financial contribution to make this project a reality.

The 6th Kadampa Temple for World Peace, in KMC Spain, has large outdoor areas, with paths, green spaces, etc., covering an area of 15,000m2. The landscaping and urban planning project, consisting of several actions, has involved the paving with printed concrete of a total area of 990m2, as well as the installation of 70 mulberry trees and 250m of hedges, the planting of 1,500 m2 of seeded grass around the temple, as well as the planting of 200 aromatic plants and 7 mature olive trees.

All these green areas make up a place of great beauty, that provide the ideal environment around the new temple built there, and represent spaces to encourage people who come to the place to practice meditation and to cultivate minds of inner peace and share moments with other people interested in spiritual development. The main objective of KMC Spain, as well as the other centers that constitute the NKT-IKBU, is to benefit people individually and society in general, through the development of inner peace thanks to the teachings, study and practice of meditation. Specifically, in this 6th Kadampa Temple, national and international meetings are held and attended by thousands of people every year.

In this way, the Can Cet Foundation continues in its commitment to the well-being of people and their inner growth, thus contributing to the spread of the meditation method and the vision of the NKT-IKBU in our country.
